Snow scenes from Carbon Hill
Carbon Hill, Alabama does not see a lot of snow. Here I am playing in a snowfall of just an inch or two. This picture was taken in February 1951. The remarks on the back of picture read: "As you know, that old Bo-hunk on the sled and Dale & dog in the background. Dale is Rose's little boy."
Here I am again on the sled. You will recognize the dog from the previous picture. The remarks on the back read: "This is Danny & Linda and Danny was just about ready to come in the house. He said, "I cold Mother."
Once again, this picture was taken a month before my third birthday. Linda appears to be eating snow. I have no idea who Linda is.
