This photo was taken in the summer of 1921 at Birch Tree, Missouri. On the right is Cecil Maize Nerren (age 22), my grandmother. The man standing next to her is my great grandfather, James Maize (1874-1948). In his arm is George L. Nerren, Jr. (age 1 year). Standing in front of him is J .H Maize's son, Chester Maize, age 12. The little girl in front is Kathryn Nerren at age 3 (later Kathryn Hallford), step-daughter of Cecil. The man second from the left is W. T. Maize, my great, great grandfather. The woman on the left is his second wife, Melisa Brown.
