Here it is past midnight, and I am still up blogging. I took a pill which is supposed to have a side effect which makes me sleepy, but so far it is not doing so. The pill was prescribed by one of my doctors for my pain resulting from a herniated disk at L 3/4. Last night I got sleepy after taking the pill, but so far tonight I have not gotton sleepy.
We made the rounds today buying items from Med-X Drugs, and Dollar General. Then we went to the library. We crossed the river and paid our city utilities bill. Next we dropped some letters off at the post office. Then we went to Wal Mart and got a tube of toothpaste.
Nick and Jennifer and kids came by this evening for a while. I finished reading Don't Know Much About Literature by Kenneth C. Davis and updated my record of books I have read on http://www.goodreads.com/. It is an open record and can be viewed by anyone.
Tonight I downloaded another book to my Kindle: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I think the Kindle is the greatest invention since sliced bread. Recently I downloaded the King James translation of the Bible and the Koran. Both were free downloads.
